**Crew Scheduler**
DHL Air Austria GmbH (DHA) is a new cargo airline founded in 2021, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) Group. The prime focus of the airline is to support the EU network with a fleet of Boeing 757 aircraft. The airline will have its headquarters in Vienna, and maintain a crew base in Leipzig delivering our customer promise of Excellence. Simply Delivered

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
You have the overall responsibility for short-medium term flight crew scheduling tasks related to daily crew control, legal and efficient flight crew coverage and appropriate maintenance of published flight crew rosters with regards to seasonal schedule, ad-hoc operational changes and additional crew training duties requirements.

You are in regular contact with flight crew members in matters of roster changes and further coordination with other departments.
You report to the OCC Manager and to the Supervisor Crew Scheduling.

**YOUR TASKS**:

- Ensure legal and efficient flight crew coverage
- Monitor flight roster legality at all times
- Handle ad-hoc operational changes
- Track the completion of line training requirements for flight crew
- Review and reschedule flight crew rosters in case of flight crew qualification or other given crewing constraints
- Maintain published flight crew rosters
- Inform flight crew members of flight crew roster changes
- Take into consideration in any crew scheduling task the best economical solution, targeting the best possible on-time performance
- Maintain a pro-active monitoring on DHA operations, providing optimal solutions to any potential or active disruption event
- Compile, analyze and process data related to the Crew Scheduling function and prepare reports as required
- Coordinate any ad-hoc crew scheduling related services when operationally required
- Build and maintain a good relationship with DHL Network control centers (EUNCC, INCC, ) and any other external party
- Participate in cross-departmental projects as required

**PROFILE**:

- Should have completed a recognizable aviation training program. Relevant professional experience within an aviation operational environment can also be considered.
- Should have at least 1 year of practical experience in an operational environment
- Should have a background in commercial flight operations. Having experience with Cargo operations is a plus.
- Should have a solid knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
- Working knowledge of AIMS is a plus
- Must have a good command of the English language; German is a plus
- Must be able to work in a 24/7 shift pattern
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work under pressure and as part of a team, be proficient in analysis, prioritization and decision-making
