We are looking for a PR Manager

You have the option of working either in our office in the Vienna city center or completely remote, provided you are located in Austria.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in public relations, communications or journalism and media
- Higher education (University/University of Applied Sciences) in the field of marketing, PR, communications, media or similar
- Knowledge and experience in media relations
- Hands-on experience in creating, planning, and executing PR campaigns
- Organisational skills
- Be able to adapt to multiple clients/brands simultaneously
- Have a distinct linguistic intuition and an excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken), fluency in German is considered a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Have a solid understanding of media spaces (digital and print) within the European Union
- Have proven PR agency or media working experience
- Have content writing skills and the ability to create engaging texts such as blog posts, articles and press releases
- Have knowledge and experience in start-up, fintech, blockchain or cryptocurrency industries
- Be able to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
- Be proactive, have an independent working style and the ability to fit in an awesome team

ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Marketing and Corporate Communication Department of the Cryptix Group acts as an agency for many ventures and supports various brands.
As our PR Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Corporate Communications and work within the Corporate Communications team. In this role, you use your organisational skills to manage and oversee the PR activities for the company and the client ventures, create, plan and execute PR campaigns with the in-house team and external partners.

Cryptix AG is the central venture-building platform and umbrella for a European cluster of businesses. The company founds, promotes, and maintains subsidiaries and participations that work under one vision to create “The People’s Financial Marketplace”. The Cryptix Group has offices in Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia.

Cryptix Labs GmbH, the in-house R&D centre, provides technology insights focusing on Blockchain and DLT. In addition, Cryptix Labs acts as a service provider in the areas of IT infrastructure, software development, and business development within the Cryptix Group and for its clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating, planning, and executing PR and external communication strategies in cooperation with the in-house team and external partners
- Working with external PR agencies and partners
- Focusing on PR strategies for products and brands
- Building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and media professionals
- Seeking opportunities for sponsorship and advertising possibilities
- Looking for PR-relevant events, providing supporting communication and marketing materials in cooperation with the event manager
