Bechtel Energy has an immediate opportunity for a Welding Clerk to be based in on-site at Pluto Train 2, Karratha.

Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy. Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.

**What you will bring**:
In your new role as the Welding Clerk, you will report to the Lead Field Welding Engineer and provide support to experienced construction engineering personnel by performing routine Welding Data inputs and Welding Document Control retention assignments.

You will perform administrative tasks and use drawings and specifications in daily work, completing assigned tasks under close supervision and technical direction.

It will be your role to maintain welder testing records as well as Permanent Plant welds for quantities and construction welding inspection reports.

**About you**:
As Welding Clerk, you are required to have basic experience of welding and NDE document control procedures, with knowledge of materials and weld techniques preferred.

You will have basic safety awareness programs and safety compliance with excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.

With an understanding of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, you will have the ability to develop working knowledge of Teamworks, E-track and WITS databases.

Please note, Right to Work in Australia without employer sponsorship is required for this role.
