The newly introduced position will cover all relevant aspects of S&OP. Ensuring that all necessary information is provided on time. Participate and lead all S&OP Meetings in order to link data and departments to guarantee flawless processes. The S&OP Manager has the responsible task of having all relevant data and information available for each planning cycle to derive actions plans. Lead conversation to reach agreement on assumptions, required actions to ensure preferred scenario, and at last the final plan. Collects information about plan scenarios presented by specialists.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Support S&OP activities alongside with the S&OP Specialists.
- Lead/participate in S&OP process maturity meeting to ensure a stable introduction for the new processes and to provide continuous evaluation and improvement.
- Responsible for the final consensus demand and supply plan
- Monitoring of S&OP KPIs and metrics.
- Identification of opportunities for improvement.
- Represents S&OP inside and outside of cycle and bring executive level insights to the meetings.
- Derive improvement measures based on quantitative findings and support execution management.
- Support in the decision-making process for operational and tactical matters, e.g., as part of Reviews in S&OP.
- Has a good understanding of production planning and PG activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Active contribution to internal projects (e.g., in process enhancements).
- Collect and define requirements for additional reporting & controlling needs.
- Supporting the Head of Production Planning in all analytical matters.

**Your background**:

- Degree in Supply Chain Management & Operations, Controlling, Business Administration or similar discipline.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience
- Fluent communication skills in German and English language
- Reliable analytical skills paired with the ability to understand and embrace the complexity of industrial production.
- Perfect knowledge of production process, production planning and S&OP
- Excellent background of Operations & Planning KPIs and metrics.
- Experience with SAP ERP (mainly PP module), production planning software (e.g., PP/DS) or other supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP IBP).
- Experience with the use of a Production or Supply Chain Control Tower or other analysis-driven software.
- Experience with BI/Dashboard tools (e.g., MS Power BI).
- Knowledge of MS Office with very good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Database know-how desirable.
- Affinity for new technologies and the drive for independent learning
- Ability to drive change.
