As an attractive employer, Erste Group offers interesting career opportunities in an international environment.- Group Strategic Initiatives pioneers, supports, and monitors strategic projects with relevance for Erste Group, and presents its conclusions and surveys to the group board and other group bodies involved in strategy setting and strategic steering. Group Strategic Initiatives also monitors the strategic environment of Erste Group, specifically the financial and operating performance of peer banks on which it prepares regular reports for the management of Erste Group.- Ihre Tasks- Support the program/project management for regular and ad-hoc strategic initiatives of Erste Group
- Regular monitoring and reporting of status of strategic projects of Erste Group
- Support the organisation of high-level management meetings and workshops (administration of material and content management) as well as deep dive into strategic topics and research on topics/trends relevant for banking
- Support the financial analysis and financial modelling for peer reviews and for ad-hoc analysis, including valuation exercises- Ihr Background- Currently enrolled at a University/University of Applied Sciences with a business, financial, or technical focus
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German is of advantage, and being a good communicator to be able to work independently with various units in the holding company and in the local banks in CEE
- Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Good understanding of financial reporting, specifically of banks; experience in financial analysis and valuation is of advantage- Unser Angebot- Exciting and challenging part-time internship for 12 months (19,25h/week)
