Wir suchen ab sofort eine*einen Techniker*in (Ersatzkraft) für die Leitung der umweltgeochemischen Laborinfrastruktur und die Unterstützung von Forschungsarbeiten im Bereich der Umweltgeochemie.
- Die Stelle ist für die Dauer der Abwesenheit eines*einer Mitarbeiter*in zu besetzen.**Beschäftigungsausmaß**: 40 Stunden/Woche.
- Einstufung gemäß Kollektivvertrag: -54 VwGr. IIIb
- Darüber hinaus können anrechenbare Berufserfahrungen die Einstufung und damit das Entgelt bestimmen.
**Ihre Aufgaben**:
Die Leitung der umweltgeochemischen Laborinfrastruktur liegt an der Schnittstelle zwischen chemischer Analytik (z. B. Chromatographie, Spektroskopie und Massenspektrometrie), Geomikrobiologie und Umweltchemie. Zu den Aufgaben gehören insbesondere die technische Betreuung der Geräte und der IT Infrastruktur, die Methodenentwicklung, Probennahme, Labororganisation, Laborsicherheit, Einschulungen in Instrumentennutzung und Laborsicherheit sowie Mithilfe bei der Dokumentation der Forschungsergebnisse.
**Ihr Profil**:
Die verantwortliche, selbständige Leitung der umweltgeochemischen Laborinfrastruktur einschließlich eines Massenspektrometrie-Großgerätelabors erfordert Flexibilität, Begeisterung, schnelle Auffassungsgabe, Verantwortungsbewusstsein, analytisches Denken und Freude an der Weiterbildung. Der Umgang mit wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeiter*innen und Studierenden der Arbeitsgruppe erfordert Teamfähigkeit, Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Organisationstalent. Erfahrung mit der ICP-Massenspektrometrie, Mineralsynthese, Nukleinsäureanalytik und mit der Leitung analytischer Labore sind sehr wichtig, um einen ununterbrochenen Laborbetrieb zu gewährleisten.
Darüberhinaus ist eine abgeschlossene AHS/BHS (Matura) erforderlich, ein abgeschlossener Bachelor im Bereich Naturwissenschaften ist wünschenswert.
