**Main areas of work**:
The position is assigned to the research project ‘Manuscripts with picture cycles in the early incunabula period’, which is funded by the Austrian Science Fund FWF. The FWF finances scientific projects that are selected on the basis of international peer review procedures.

. Together with the other project participants, you develop solutions to research questions that arise from or are related to the project objectives
- . You participate in the academic discussion on book illumination in the age of incunabula in the form of lectures and publications
- . You are engaged with creativity and energy in the scientific activities of the project group (organisation of conferences, exhibitions, communication of research results to a wider public, etc.)
- . You take on editorial tasks in connection with the written dissemination of research results
