Contracting Manager

At Sunweb Group we specialize in selling package holidays to European summer and winter sports destinations. We are currently seeking a Contracting Manager to join our team based in Austria, who will be responsible for sourcing accommodations and services, in line with our local purchasing strategy. Your role will be partly out in the field, developing existing and acquiring new partnerships and partly office-based. You will be an Austrian destination expert with a wide network in the snow sports industry.

**Your impact**
- Responsible for negotiating all supplier contracts including, accommodation, ski services and local incoming agencies.
- Be the main contact point for your designated suppliers, working with your internal Sunweb colleagues to answer queries and proactively solve any issues.
- Drive growth through creative partnerships.
- Work with external partners to develop and optimize channel manager portfolios.
- Using your in-depth knowledge of the local winter sports market, be first in line for all new destination developments and opportunities.
- Combine the use of data with your own experience and insights to devise your own purchasing plan.
- Maintain regular communication with the Head of Contracting and Director of Sunweb SKI to shape your strategic approach.

**What skills will bring you to the top?**
- Ideally you will have experience in negotiating with local Austrian partners.
- Alternatively you are passionate about the snow sports industry and looking to use your knowledge in a purchasing role.
- You are enthusiastic with great communication skills and have a proven track record in cultivating working relationships.
- You are flexible, adaptable and dedicated to getting the job done, with some days not sticking to the traditional working hours of 9 to 5.
- You have a hands on approach and put the customer at the heart of everything you do.
- Ideally, you will be living close to the Austrian ski destinations.
- You hold a current driving license and are willing to travel.
- Fluency in spoken English and German is a must.
