As a Test Development Engineer you are involved in the entire project lifecycle and act as a quality gate that every single Infineon chip has to pass. Test Development Engineers play a
**key role **in Infineon’s products. It takes
**technical skills and accuracy **plus a great deal of
**team work **to get the job done.

In your new role you will:

- **Define, develop and optimize **production **test software and hardware **for automotive sensor products in close cooperation with the IC design team
- **Plan **, **run **and coordinate **test projects**:

- **Develop **innovative **testing methods**:

- **Optimize test methods/algorithm to improve quality and efficiency**:

- **Support and work closely together with production**:

- **Verify the performance **of new test equipment
- Ensure **result interpretation **and documentation
- **Analyse **internal **customer requirements **and perform **feasibility studies**

**training phase **we prepare you optimally for your new tasks. With regular
**feedback**
**discussions **and planning of your
**professional and personal development **we ensure your success in this position.

This job is suitable for full time and part time.

You are best equipped for this job if you have:

- **University degree (Master) **in electronics, computer science, automation or equivalent
- **Professional experience **is a plus, such as mixed signal IC testing on **ATE (automated test equipment) **like Teradyne or Advantest
- **Lab skills are a plus **e.g. oscilloscope, lab setup creation
- Knowledge of **software engineering **tools is a plus e.g. version control systems (Git)
- **Analytical **and **problem **solving **skills**:

- **Programming skills **e.g. VBA, C++
- Experience or skills in **data analysis **, **statistical methods **and **tools**:

- Fluent English communication skills, German skills are desired
