**Project Overview**:
Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.

Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.

Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.

**What you bring**:

- Develops and implements IH/OH programs including processes, procedures, specifications, and/or training courses.
- Monitors daily work practices utilized by Bechtel and/or contractors/subcontractors to ensure compliance with established programs, policies, and applicable regulations. Advises project management of noncompliance and stops work in imminent danger situations.
- Recommends acceptable work practices and corrective actions and ensures their implementation.
- Develops and delivers IH/OH training programs and conducts IH/OH training meetings as necessary.
- Assist and support subcontractor industrial hygienists in sampling and assessment methodologies as required.
- Conducts and assists projects with sampling, monitoring, data interpretation and occupational health surveys to ensure compliance with established programs.
- Remains cognizant of federal, state, local, or host country regulations affecting industrial hygiene. Ensures dissemination of information on new or revised regulations to supervisory personnel and other employees through verbal and written communications and through revisions to programs.
- Accompanies regulatory compliance officers/inspectors during project audits to provide technical/operational support relative to compliance with applicable standards.
- Assists in preparing specific reports as required in accordance with the Bechtel Environmental, Safety & Health Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Plans, procedures and associated core processes.
- Designates controlled/restricted work areas in agreement with policy, regulations and the Bechtel Environmental, Safety & Health Industrial and Occupational Hygiene Plans.
- Provides input to proposals and risk mitigations in the area of industrial hygiene.
- Other duties assigned by the HSE Manager to provide compliance support to the HSE Management Plan and Processes

**About you**:

- Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and criteria pertinent to IH/OH
- Knowledge of IH/OH training program materials and methods.
- Knowledge of problem investigation, regulatory and internal audit practices and procedures.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills.
- The above is normally acquired through:

- Licensing through appropriate regulatory authorities, where required
- A recognized degree in public health or related engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited college or university

**Additional Information**
- The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products - i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site. Mobile phones and other personal electronic devices - i.e. wireless headphones, iPads, smart watches - are also not permitted on site._

This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.
