Research Laboratory Scientist: Biotherapeutics Discovery Research (f/m/d)-224826

**THE POSITION**

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Design and execute research that supports R&D projects and contribute to core group/research goals
- Independently plan, perform and document scientific experiments. Troubleshoot effectively and solve scientific problems. Specifically, express, purify and characterize biotherapeutics, in particular monoclonal and bispecific antibodies
- Evaluate, design, develop and implement innovate methods, test procedures and technologies
- Operate lab equipment and be responsible for maintenance
- Effectively communicate orally and in writing; Discuss own work in the context of team and department goals in a concise and accurate manner

**Requirements**:

- A degree in biology/biochemistry/biotechnology or equivalent (Master)
- Expertise in protein chemistry, molecular biology, protein/antibody engineering, biophysical methods, and/or protein/antibody expression, purification and analytics.
- Experience with HPLC, FLPC and ligand binding assays such as SPR, ELISA
- Experience with cell culture and immunological techniques a background in immunology or oncology is an advantage
- Strong team spirit, communication and presentation skills, as well as outstanding data analysis and data management skills
- Self-organized and independent working style, creative thinking and a lateral mindset

Für diese Position bieten wir Ihnen ein interessantes Gehalt, das sowohl Ihre fachlichen und persönlichen Kompetenzen sowie Ihre beruflichen Vorerfahrungen berücksichtigt. Aufgrund gesetzlicher Bestimmungen sind wir verpflichtet, das Mindestgrundentgelt gemäß Einstufung nach Kollektivvertrag bekannt zu geben, das bei dieser Position bei € 37.756,32 brutto pro Jahr (Vollzeit) liegt, wobei eine Überzahlung möglich ist.
