**Job Description**:
Strategic Procurement - Supply Chain Manager reports directly to the Head of Operations & Regulations and will be in charge to setup and execute a company-wide strategy for sourcing materials, components and services based on the core technologies and competences of the company.
As such you will be responsible for Supply Chain and Procurement processes.
**Your main task & Responsibilities**:

- Defining the Supply Chain process requirements up to production planning and their implementation in processes, SOPs and IT-solutions
- Identify and build-up a Supplier Base according to the strategic targets of the company
- Managing of all suppliers, including selection, performance evaluation and risk management and particularly taking care of the commercial requirement (contracts negotiations and closure) while integrating all others (technical, program and quality)
- Central point of contact for internal requests of external materials, components and services
- Procurement of all needed materials, components and services for products and infrastructure (both hardware and software)
- Status tracking of ordered materials / services (and their further processing if those are to be sent to a supplier after being processed/reviewed internally)
- Checking invoices against the respective Purchase Orders and confirming OTD and OQD data in cooperation with the departments using the material/service
- Scheduling of material for production

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement/Logistics or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in procurement and suppliers management in a company developing, manufacturing and maintaining vehicles or engines in aviation or in automotive
- Knowledge of the aviation supply chain and regulatory constraints
- Fluent communication in English
- Basic communication in German, or willing to achieve A2-level within 6 months and B1-level within 12 months
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a mixed team environment with internal and external stakeholders, speaking effectively before customers and suppliers and to negotiate based on the internal requirements
- Structured, independent, accurate and solution-oriented way of working, attentive to the detail, prepared to set goals on its own and coordinate them in a fluid environment
- Familiarity with MS Office and ERP software

- Annual full-time based salary for the position is € 70,000 gross per year. We are willing to pay above the stated salary, final offer will be based on market level as well on individual qualification and experience.
