**Job Description**:
Turner & Townsend are always on the look out for Cost Managers / Cost Controllers to work on major Projects based in Vienna. The Cost Manager / Cost Controller will be required to implement, administer and maintain cost control processes, procedures and systems.
The aim is to track budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts, and to assist in the preparation and review of cost estimates and schedules across the Building Program and its supporting projects.
**Responsibilities**:
- Adherence to project cost standards, processes and procedures across the project.
- Set-up and control of cost report, maintaining a consistent approach to reporting across the portfolio of projects taking into account Capex as well as Opex costs.
- Analysis and integration of cost estimates and forecasts provided by contractors and suppliers, and support the cost estimating process.
- Ensure changes are correctly documented communicated to the business of the probability it will occur.
- Review the cost impacts of changes and incorporate impacts of approved changes into the project control budget and current cost forecast.
- Identify cost variances to approved budget via the Trend/Change Management Process and understand the Risk.
- Ensures that the project cost report reflects the correct value for approved changes and that the forecast final cost incorporates all approved changes.
- Develop, monitor and maintain overall Monthly Project Cost Reports.
**Qualifications**:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or equivalent is required.
- RICS membership or equivalent.
- Cost engineering experience; working experiences in mon. one of the sectors: High-tech & Manufacturing, Life Science or Oil & Gas sector.
- Demonstrated experience balancing and organizing multiple project or assignments.
- Experiences in stakeholder management; ability to interface effectively and collaborate with clients, Management and contractors.
- Strong communication skills
- Business Level in German and English
The payment for this position is based on the collective agreement and is at least 55,000 euros gross per year with specific professional experience of 3 years. A clear over payment depending on qualification and years of service is expressly possible.
