We are looking for a **VIE **as a **Subcontracting Officer **for our site in **Vienna, AUSTRIA t**o support the Site Engineering Workload and Subcontracting Manager, in compiling data related to engineering subcontracting and workload management including data analysis and KPIs to manage subcontractors.

**Details of the Volunteers for International Experience (VIE) program**:

- _Assignments are open for citizens of European Union countries between _**_18 and 28 years_**:

- **_Never have worked in Austria_**:

- _Assignment lasts from _**_12 to 24 months_**_, renewable once within a cumulative limit of 24 months_
- _Compensation (non-taxable) linked to the cost of living index and set by Business France: _**_2 820,67 € per month_**_ in Austria (update 1st of January 2024)_
- _Set up by public sector statute in France, managed by the Business France organization_
- _International social protection is extended to eligible parties_
- _2.5 days of holiday per month_

**Your Role**:

- Create engineering work packages done by external suppliers or other Alstom sites
- Control the track of them according to the budget per project
- Control and approve invoices received from suppliers
- Compile datasets related to subcontracting purchase orders and monthly progress and run analyses
- Report actual, engage and forecast subcontracting expenses for projects
- Provide an overview of key performance of subcontractors (delivering on time and first time right)

**Competencies & Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business management
- Understanding of Data Analysis and performance reporting
- Fluency in English is mandatory, German would be a plus
- Advanced with MS Office tools
- Previous experience with SAP tool is a plus
- Rigorous, motivated & proactive
- Willing to communicate and collaborate with various people in an international environment
