Anyltical Chemist

We are seeking an Analytical Chemist - ideally with experience in Metabolomics - to contribute to innovation in our R&D department. The role involves conducting LC-MS based analyses and actively participating in projects centered around metabolomics and glycomics in animal nutrition and health. We are looking for a hands-on problem solver with a passion for science, laboratory work, and data analysis to join our dynamic team.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Extensive lab work (from designing to executing experiments as well as maintenance of laboratory equipment)
- Analytical techniques, including LC-MS based analyses
- Data collection, analysis, and interpretation as well as documentation and communication of results
- Contribute to the development and optimization of experimental protocols/SOPs
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals (incl. method development, validation, metabolomics and glycomics)
- Adhere to safety and quality protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment

- We offer you an income based on your qualifications and market conditions, with a minimum annual gross salary of € 42.000 on fulltime basis. Depending on experience overpayment is possible.

- Type of employment: Full time for 38,5 hours / week, temporary contract for 16 months

**You bring**
- Education in biotechnology or related field of life science (B.Sc.)
- Experience in HR-MS based metabolomics; understanding of laboratory workflows, skilled in at least one software for metabolomics data processing is a plus
- Effective communication & documentation skills in English. German is a plus
- Experience with common lab organization & supporting tasks
- Team-focused and goal-oriented work ethic combined with a positive mind set, hands-on mentality, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
