PALFINGER stands for the most innovative, reliable and economical lifting solutions that are used in commercial vehicles, rail vehicles, bridge inspection devices and in the maritime sector. To strengthen our Team we are looking for a **Head of Sustainability Management** (f/m/d).

**TASKS**:

- Chair of the Sustainability Council with responsibility for preparation, moderation and follow-up
- Support and drive the Sustainability Council in detailing the PALFINGER sustainability strategy incl. goals, KPIs and concepts
- Plan, calculate, manage and control cross-functional projects and measures in a result-oriented manner
- Ensure a seamless integration of the global sustainability strategy into the PALFINGER corporate strategy 2030
- Drive the development of an integrated climate protection strategy in accordance with the sustainability strategy
- Act as a thought leader and driving force for identifying sustainability opportunities and risks, as well as their potential measures
- Maintain overview of sustainability trends and requirements for the group, incl. review of possible frameworks, especially SBTi, materiality analysis along social, ecological, and ethical aspects
- Establish and lead a Sustainability Project Management Office
- Define strategy and provide content regarding integrated sustainability communication/reporting
- Represent PALFINGER in external expert committees

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- University degree in business and/or a technically oriented study
- 5-10 years industry experience incl. responsible implementation/project lead roles in the field of sustainability strategy
- Strong analytic and conceptual capabilities with experience in change management and investment planning
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Convincing personality with a high degree on social skills
- Entrepreneurial thinking with necessary understanding of legal requirements
- High level of interpersonal and intercultural skills combined
- Fluent in English, German as a plus

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 59.235,56. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
