**Announcement of a Professorship Position for Neurophysiology at the Medical University of Vienna**

The Medical University of Vienna (MedUni Vienna) with more than 6.000 employees and about 8.000 students is one of the largest academic medical schools in the EU area. At the **Center for Brain Research **of the MedUni Vienna **a Full Professorship Position for Neurophysiology **according to -98 university act 2002 is available, starting as soon as possible. We offer permanent employment according to the Austrian Employees act. The successful applicant will be head of the Division of Neurophysiology. The Center for Brain Research is internationally recognized by the innovative scientific research and discoveries and is currently divided into six divisions: Cognitive Neurobiology, Molecular Neurosciences, Neuroimmunology, Neurophysiology, Neuronal Cell Biology and Pathobiology of the Nervous System.

Employment requirements:

- Outstanding scientific qualification in the field of neurophysiology
- Successful and continuous acquisition of competitive third-party funds
- Leadership and management experience, including gender and diversity competence
- Experience in interdisciplinary cooperation Educational and didactic qualification (evaluation results regarding teaching activities)
- International work experience

- Interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research in terms of promoting the research cluster Medical Neuroscience as described in the University’s development
