Are you a person who likes challenges and works towards constant improvement? A person who enjoys global role in a small team? At Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions - Division Mechanical Cutting - we are now looking for an inventory planner.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be driving for MeCu supply chain parts NWC efficiency and parts availability. You're responsible for executing global inventory actions as well as collaboration with key stakeholders. This role offers you a front row seat to global project implementations including Logility and SAP S/4HANA.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

As the Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for inventory optimization in our aftermarket business. Main responsibilities are:

- Releasing purchasing orders for production units (intercompany)
- Managing intracompany replenishment orders and redistribution within supply chain
- Analyzing and optimizing existing global inventory
- Setting inventory strategies and acting as the operational contact for given global sales region
- Accountable for the Days in Inventory setting and follow up including actions on obsolete or slow-moving stock at supply points
- Accountable for the availability (Fill Rate), e.g., right product and quantity at the right place at the right time
- Identifying process and system requirements at area level for continuous improvements
- Participating and supporting initiatives or projects as needed
- Creation of statistics and key figures
- Strategic stock management
- Returns management

YOUR PROFILE
- You have a university degree or equivalent in relevant area, preferably in logistics and you have a few years’ experience in inventory analytics. It’s advantageous if you have knowledge of Inventory optimization tools.
- You will consider analysis and problem solving as your core skills. Comprehending and analyzing high volumes of information quickly is second nature to you as you are an excellent Excel-user.
- You have a strong knowledge of ERP and planning systems (SAP, Logility) and of standard softwares (Microsoft Office, Power BI and other Reporting Tools etc.).
- You will have drive, flexibility, high level of energy and enthusiasm. Additionally, you are able to work as part of a team.
- To be successful in this role you will need to be able to build relationships both internally and externally and have excellent interpersonal skills.

- This role reports to a manager based in Austria, so German would be an advantage.

WE ARE OFFERING

We are offering a challenging role with the possibility to grow further in organization as well as a future development plan in an international working environment. We also offer a flexible working hours model with a partial home office option. As required by Austrian federal law we hereby state, that the legal minimum salary according to the Austrian collective agreement for this position amounts from € 3.310,48 gross per month, depending on qualification and experience we offer an adequate overpayment. In addition, we offer other social benefits (e.g. in Austria: canteen, health program, relief fund, additional pension model, etc.).
