Bar Waiter

**On behalf of our client, a 4*S Hotel in Vorarlberg, Austria, we are looking for a Barkeeper**

**Main duties**:

- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Taking beverage orders and serving them to guests on a timely manner.
- Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.
- Good knowledge of wine selection, wine service and Beer service.
- To deal efficiently and courteously with all guest queries
- Delivering consistent, exceptional service in line with the luxury standards
- Excellent knowledge of restaurant menus to be able to offer guidance and make recommendations
- Pick-up food orders from kitchen and communicate to the chef regarding any special preferences or allergy.
- Ensuring that the bar and lounge stations are fully stocked, clean and tidy at all times.
- Clear tables and prepare for service by polishing cutlery, glassware and crockery etc.
- Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas.
- Have a passion for all things food and beverage
- Speak English at a high level
- Be able to help train and supervise team members ensuring they deliver consistent quality of service
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- A strong understanding of the high standards that are demanded from a 4* and 5* establishments
- Be creative minded with a passion and respect for the provenance of food
- Relish the pressure of a busy restaurant environment

The minimum salary for the position as Bar Waiter / Barkeeper (M/F/d) is EUR 2,400.00 gross per month based on full-time employment. Willingness to overpay.
