**2D FOOTWEAR DESIGNER**

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the Prototyping Manager - EMEA, you will be a member of the global Customer Product Development (CPD) team and you will execute our BOA and Brand Partner 2D footwear design requests. You will work with a variety of our teams to create inspirational images that merge performance configurations and fit innovation with current footwear trends. In doing so, you will help us better tell our story of innovation and performance fit through sketches, trend and consumer needs analysis, and concept ideation.
- CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create inspirational 2D footwear images that convey a concept story for CPD, Commercial, Marketing and Product Development teams, and that connect with current footwear design trends
- Blend BOA configurations and the Brand Partner’s design language to create inspirational 2D design, in a very collaborative process with the teams involved. Previous experience or willingness to work in these parameters are needed.
- Create new and innovative concepts, patterns, processes, and fit-enhancing solutions that help us meet long-term organizational needs and plans
- Support documentation and internal needs with technically accurate images and diagrams
- Develop knowledge of our products, including components, appropriate configurations, and installation to support new Product Development and Customer Product Development
- Evolve our current configurations to maximize our options and align with our consumer fit story
- Regularly seek out inspiration by researching new technologies, products, and trends in the industry and in the market
- Contribute to ideation concept sessions
- Contribute to consumer performance and fit assessments
- Regularly role model the Core Operating Principles to your team and others
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Demonstrated passion and interest for footwear trends and design
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
- Advanced sketch visualization skills and attention to details
- Experience managing multiple priorities, project timelines and ability to handle urgent tasks
- A passion for continuously learning and seeking out new ideas
- Bachelor’s Degree in design, preferably product, fashion or industrial design required
- Team oriented, open minded, self-motivated, and driven to exceed expectations
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience working in footwear, product, or industrial design
- Experience in manufacturing and with technical mindset
- Experience in outdoor and/or footwear industries.
- Ideal would be also a passion for outdoors and the related activities.

- For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out the minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement, which is 2041. EUR gross per month. However, our attractive salary packages are based on current market salaries and are therefore _
