**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As an Architect - Data Platforms you will be part of our European Big Data & Analytics consulting team where you will be responsible for providing technical thought leadership and solution expertise around emerging Big Data technologies. This includes technology assessment, use case development, as well as solution outline and design for modern data architectures.

As an Architect for Data Platforms you will design end to end Data Solutions across multiple platforms with extensive experience on scalable data repositories. You'll demonstrate hands-on expertise in creating data solutions for clients, creating best of breed end-to-end solutions leveraging Cloud and traditional data platform offerings and you'll oversee the architecture for the data platform and cognitive components including unstructured data technologies, annotation and related data and analytics, e.g. Big Data, Data Warehouse, Data Integration, Enterprise Information Management, Master Data Management and/or Data Consolidation projects

Minimum Reference Salary based on Austrian Market Ranges: EUR 60.760,-. Possibility for over-payment is based on education and experience.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
**At least 3 years experience**:

- with Data platforms architecture, data platforms implementation
- in / with Big Data projects using Hadoop, Map Reduce, Spark, Python, SPSS/R or NoSql technologies
- in cross systems integration, information management business analytics and architecture
- in design with programming on high-scale or distributed systems (such as Hadoop)
- Programming skills (Java/Python)
**At least 2 years experience**:

- with Cloud or Cloud native platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google,
- in data warehouse environment and knowledge of existing and emerging data integration approaches
- in data architecture of designing and developing logical data models
- in / with high performance distributed parallel file system storage technology such as GPFS, GFS, CloudStore, HDFS or similar
