**Job Description**:
For one of our teams based in Kufstein, Tyrol, we are currently looking to hire a (Senior) Scientist with a focus on developing a cell-based propagation assay In this newly created position your main responsibilities will include, but won´t be limited to:

- Susceptibility studies and literature search
- Propagation of viruses as well as determination of freezing procedure
- Titer determination by TCID50 method prior and after freezing
- Writing of assay development reports as well as validation protocols and reports
- Method Development
- Establishments of virus banks
- Training and mentoring of colleagues

**Qualifications**:
For this interesting opportunity we are looking for somebody with
- Master degree or PhD in related topic
- Fluent in English written and spoken, German would be beneficial
- Experience working with viruses and knowledge of virus structure/replication/pathology, as well as cell cultures, including aseptic handling
- Expertise with method validations
- Previous experience working in a GMP environment, including proven proficiency in technical writing
- Experience in international project teams would be desired

The collective agreement minimum salary (employment group (Vewendungsgruppe) IV) for this position is at least EUR 3.089,47. Due to the responsibilities and the challenging tasks and with appropriate qualifications, there will be an appropriate overpayment.
