Octapharma specializes in the development of highly pure pharmaceuticals made of human blood plasma. As part of a family-owned enterprise, Octapharma in Vienna is not only the largest production site, but also a successful research location of the Octapharma Group. Since our company continues to grow, we are now hiring for our team:
We are seeking a dedicated Business Intelligence Expert (M/F/d) to join our Corporate Manufacturing Intelligence department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and integrating data from diverse sources and production sites. This allows individual production steps to be evaluated and im-proved and contributes to the increase of production efficiency.

**Your new challenges which will inspire you**:

- You collect complex data from various sources, link it in a meaningful way and use BI tools to create reports and dashboards.
- You act as an interface to production, IT and external IT-consultants to understand the business needs and translate them to data insights.
- Harmonization, standardization, integration as well as improving the reliability and integrity of production-relevant data are also part of your tasks.
- You create business requirements and functional specifications.
- The tasks also include training of colleagues in using production data analysis tools.

**Your profile that will convince us**:

- Completed university degree, ideally in IT (Business Intelligence), or chemical discipline.
- Relevant work experience in a similar position in the field of BI, ideally combined with pharmaceutical production experience.
- Software skills: SQL, BI Tools (e.g. QlikSense, Power BI), Python is of advantage
- Good knowledge of data modelling. An understanding of statistics is an advantage.
- English fluent written and spoken. German, French or Swedish is of advantage.
- Willingness to travel within Europe approximately 1 time per month.

The minimum gross wage according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) for your new job is EUR 4.157,14. We strive to adapt your salary to your range of tasks and to your profile, which is why we are ready to pay wages higher than collectively agreed.
