(Junior) Scientist Assay Development Austria

**Your Responsibilities**
- Coordination and performance of work in Department with primary focus on: biochemical, molecular biological and immunological assay development
- Guidance of Research Assistants and support in efficient distribution of workload (knowledge transfer, ensure that standards are met)
- Planning, analysis, review and troubleshooting of experiments
- Active participation at various vaccine programs or projects focusing on assay development and analytical activities
- Transfer established analytical assays to GMP/GLP departments including necessary documentation
- Write and review protocols and reports
- Evaluation and presentation of data
- Become an integral part of highly interactive team working on multiple projects
- Provide expertise and support to other functions within the organization
- Build and maintain scientific expertise for dedicated vaccine indication

**Requirements**:

- PhD in relevant scientific field (preferred: immunology, virology, biochemistry)
- work experience in the life science environment
- Background in biochemical molecular biological and immunological methods
- Hands-on experience on immunological/biochemical/molecular biological assays/analytical methods (e.g. ELISA, cell-based assays, capillary electrophoresis, Ion-chromatography, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, RT-qPCR)
- Ability to work according to challenging timelines
- Team work, excellent organizational skills
- Excellent analytical/problem solving skills
- Detailed working style with ability to set priorities
- Advanced presentation skills for various stakeholders and audiences
- Computer software (MS Office..) and knowledge in statistical analyses
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
