Product Lifecycle Manager

**What part will you play?**
- Explore market trends and work with customers, end users, and sales teams to identify opportunities and requirements.
- Preparing market requirements for future investments based on market analysis and regular meetings with partners and customers.
- Introduce and demonstrate product prototypes to customers and document feedback.
- Formulate requirements for R&D based on customer feedback.
- Provide active support to customers
- Constantly gather and prioritize feedback, both internal and external.
- Work with R&D to ensure appropriate feature prioritization / roll out
- Articulate the features and value proposition of products to customers and sales team.
- Define, develop, drive product roadmap and manage R&D development priorities
- Understand and analyze the overall market and competition.
- Create and present conference papers and / or whitepapers on Central Substation Computing product.
- Ensuring optimal positioning and presentation of Central Substation Computing product to customers and internally within Siemens
- Working in close cooperation with R&D, sales, marketing departments as well as your colleagues in product management to push for innovation and assure we continue to be market leaders.
- Define sales pitch / product pitch along with strategies to ensure product business targets (OI, Revenue, etc.) are met
- In your role, you will report and work closely with head product manager of Centralized Substation Computing

**What you need to make real what matters.**
- Several years of relevant experience in product lifecycle management or related position (also R&D or Sales)
- with a bachelors degree (or similar) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar and a clear focus on Software business
- Great to have: Understanding of APIs, Ecosystem Platforms and Virtualization
- Great to have: Experience with Agile product management and / or Agile software development
- A strong Entrepreneur mindset with the ability to put customer first
- A team player with a positive attitude, even in the face of adversity
- The ability to inspire and motivate colleagues through your customer focus and innovative mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, roles, and geographical and time zone boundaries
- A high degree of creativity, open-mind and fluency in English and German.
- Excellent communication, provide great reports, thrive on collaborating with multiple teams, and love the challenge of aligning diverse stakeholders
