**About the Position**
As our Project Management Lead you will work closely with our Managing Director to drive key strategic initiatives to advance Speedinvest as an organization. Some of your projects include, but are not limited to, implementing and leading the digital enablement process of a new investment and fund cycle management tool and supporting the Managing Director to successfully lead the project for Speedinvest to become a fully licensed fund, the first of its kind in Austria. Additionally, you will work cross-functionally with other key stakeholders across Speedinvest on various important projects, giving you great insight into one of Europe’s leading VCs. This role is varied, hands-on, requires adaptability, and is highly rewarding. You will have room to grow at Speedinvest allowing for development within the organisation in the long run.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Manage the process of becoming a fully licensed alternative investment fund in Austria
- Support and guide the implementation and digital enablement of a new investment and fund cycle management tool
- Planning and implementation of a wide variety of projects including assembling interdisciplinary teams, resource and kick-off planning, stakeholder management, leading the project team
- Ensuring that the project stays within its timeline and budget
- Ensure project governance and reporting
- Manage different internal and external stakeholders on highly complex projects
- Develop training materials and leading the tool training sessions to ensure user adoption
- Work on further strategic initiatives with stakeholders across Speedinvest
- Assist with important strategically relevant projects on an as-needed basis
- Manage the business intelligence framework from our set of our portfolio companies’ KPIs to support making sound business and investment decisions
**Your Qualifications and Skills**
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in consulting, PMO or project management
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail and passion for numbers
- Strong interest in IT infrastructure and tool-implementation
- Passionate about driving initiatives, excellent project management skills with the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a high degree of flexibility to adjust to last minute updates or changes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, good presentation skills
- Desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced and entrepreneurial organization
- Natural at establishing relationships with different stakeholders and working with cross-functional and distributed teams
- Dedicated work ethic, proactive attitude and commitment to a goal-oriented environment, creative problem solver
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel with an interest to learn new tools (e.g. Notion).
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
