The Clinical Trial Division is a Business within the Pharma Services Group, which offers Clinical Trial Services to Pharmaceutical and BioTech companies.

With a keen understanding of laws, regulations and compliance as well as reporting requirements consistent with USGAAP and statutory requirments, this team uses innovative financial systems and controls, data security and robust processes to protect the company’s assets and support its short
- and long-term growth on a global scale.

**What you will do**:

- Evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes; recommend and implement changes to policies and processes to strengthen control environment.
- Continues improve and design, implement, and monitor processes, controls, and systems to increase controls and efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, company policy, approval authority matrix and standard operating procedure as well as statutory requirements.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of financial documents and supplementary reporting with accounting procedures and controls and through balance sheet reviews
- Lead fulfillment of internal and external audit requirements

**How you will get here**:
**Education**
- Required: A CPA or comparable

**Experience**
- Required: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Accounting, Controls or Audit

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Excellent understanding of financial accounting standards (Statutory & USGAAP) and internal controls
- Proven VAT knowledge
- Takes personal accountability for decisions and actions
- Challenges the status quo; introduces and proactively seeks out new insights and solutions to strengthen financial controls and compliance.
- Leader in resourcing talent and diversity, involved in all parts of the hiring and development process

**Travel requirements**
- 25-30% domestic EMEA & international travel possible
