**About the role**:
For the department "Quality Control Business & GMP Improvement" we are looking for an enthusiastic, business oriented as well as data and result driven leader to drive the change towards a highly automated and digitalized department. In this role you will lead a very challenging area within Quality Control responsible for higher level, central processes such as deviations, change controls and act as a project portfolio manager in QC.

**How you will contribute**:

- Lead a team of approximately 15 with 5 direct reports (reporting to the Director of Quality Control).
- Responsibility for deviations as "Deviation Owner".
- Change control management as well as project management
- Monitoring of relevant KPI's within quality control.
- Cost control including CAPEX management
- Creation of sustainable CAPA's and timely processing or closure of deviations
- Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Support of "Save the Planet" initiatives to ensure a healthy and safe workplace

**What you bring to Takeda**:

- Completed, higher education with a technical or scientific background
- At least 10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry as well as sound GMP-knowledge
- Broad expertise in change and lean management
- Experience with Lean & Six Sigma tools as well as basic business knowledge from the economic perspective will be an advantage
- Knowledge of automation and visualization software are desired (Uipath, MS Power Platform)
- Empathic leader with competent demeanor and innovative spirit
- Constructive, solution-oriented, enjoys working with people
- Clear, transparent communication with different internal and external stakeholders
- Very good language skills in English and German
