The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is a non-profit organisation that represents the medical specialty of radiology in Europe and organises the biggest congress in this field, the European Congress of Radiology (ECR). As part of its mission, one of the ESR’s Subcommittees develops referral guidelines for medical imaging. These guidelines are used as the content of a clinical decision support software (ESR iGuide) that enables referring doctors to access appropriateness guidance at the point of care with the aim of enhancing patient safety and improving quality of care in radiology.

Tasks

**What we are looking for**:
The ESR is looking for an individual to join its team as Clinical Content Analyst and Scientific Committee Administrator.

The key responsibilities of this role are to coordinate and support the work of the ESR Referral Guidelines Subcommittee, manage the ESR’s guideline and content curation process, and administer the guideline content for the ESR iGuide system. You will work with expert radiologists to ensure that the ESR provides up-to-date guidance on appropriate medical imaging, facilitating and supporting the review and development process of clinical guidelines according to the ESR’s methodology. You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the clinical guideline content. In addition, you will work with the ESR iGuide team to ensure this guidance is properly embedded in the ESR iGuide decision support software.

Principal Responsibilities and Tasks
- Coordination of the evidence-based content curation process
- Maintenance of guideline content versions and translations
- Organisational and administrative support for the Referral Guidelines Subcommittee
- Providing technical and scientific support to guideline authors
- Assistance with literature search, reference citations
- Quality assurance and documentation
- Technical administration of the guideline content for use in the ESR iGuide system

**Requirements**:

- Excellent command of English
- Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
- Familiarity with medical and scientific terminology and methods
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience in the field of radiology or a related medical and scientific discipline is an advantage
- Experience working with content management systems and databases is a benefit
- Knowledge of medical coding systems is a benefit

The salary range for this full-time (38.5h) job vacancy is 2,900.00 € - 3,600.00 € gross per month(14 times per year).
