We are seeking a talented freelance French Translator to join our team and support our hydration journey in France and Belgium. In this role, you'll be instrumental in bringing our brand’s unique voice to life, ensuring all customer-facing materials are accurately and engagingly translated for our French audience.

**Your responsibilities at waterdrop®**:

- As a freelance French Translator (M/F/d) at waterdrop®, you'll take charge of localizing our brand's voice in the French market. Your work will span a variety of touchpoints, including website copy, product packaging, digital and offline marketing, and B2B materials.
- You ensure accuracy and consistency of terminology and tone in all translated materials, aligning with waterdrop’s brand voice.
- You localize persuasive content that not only encourages action, driving sales, revenue, and growth, both online and offline, but also weaves captivating stories to build brand awareness and voice, making people feel connected to our brand across all touchpoints.
- You provide proofreading and quality checks on translated content.
- You support any urgent translation needs for product launches or time-sensitive campaigns.

**Your strengths & qualifications**:

- You’re a detail-oriented freelancer who thrives on creating creative, engaging translations that convey our witty tone of voice.
- You have a deep affinity for language, a talent for wordplay, and an appreciation for amazing alliterations (see what we did there?).
- You work comfortably and efficiently on your own, taking full ownership of your projects and meeting deadlines with ease.
- Ideally, you bring experience in SEO copywriting, with a knack for maximizing keyword impact.
- **Native proficiency in French and fluency in English** are required; additional languages are a plus.
- You have a proven background in a similar role.
