Assistant Professor/senior Lecturer in Finance

**Your responsibilities**:

- Teaching and conducting examinations independently (the standard teaching load for this position is 7.5 units/week per semester (1 unit = 45 minutes of teaching). Supervising theses is counted towards the teaching load.
- Teaching courses such as Financial Management & Investment Planning, Corporate Financial Management, Accounting and Management Control
- Establishing relationships with stakeholders from the financial industry and developing a field of applied research related to the current and future challenges of this industry (e.g. sustainable finance)
- Contributing to the academic self-administration duties of the school and the university

**Your profile**:
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in finance, business administration, management, or a related field within the social sciences
- Evidence of research potential
- Commitment to high quality teaching
- Ability to teach courses in the field of finance and related areas
- Ability to attract external funding to support research programs and to successfully build collaborative research programs with other universities, research institutes and industry
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills; proficiency in German language is welcome.
