We are looking for a student in order to support our digital backend design team. ATV SP Graz develops
**automotive chips **for
**SPT6, SPT7 **and
**SPT9/9U **technology nodes. The chips are mostly automotive regulator, driver, battery and power management integrated circuits.

These chips are analog on top and every chip is consisting of hard
**macro IPs **of the
**semi-custom area **. The job requires constant
**communication **and
**teamwork **between
**digital designers **and
**IC layout engineers **.

Our intern will learn how to use our company frameworks and tool-flows for generating

**RTL code **as well as modern
**SystemVerilog test bench architectures **and understand the

whole
**digital backend flow **from including Synthesis and Place&Route.

The respective development team is
**multi lingual **and
**multi-cultural, **so good English skills are key to master the tasks at hand. The development team is organized in an

**agile development setup **, which fosters
**communication **and
**mutual learnings **well as

**team integration **.

Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time (Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Duration: 12 months

You successfully meet the requirements if you are an ambitious and committed student from the field of
**Electrical Engineering **or similar and are best equipped for this task if you have:

- Good **coding **and **environment knowledge**
- UNIX environment
- VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog
- Analog Design (as an advantage)
- Python
- TCL
- Clearcase
- SVN
- Basic knowledge in **CMOS implementation **, **Integrated Circuit **s **, **Semiconductor Physics **and **Digital Design **from university
- At least a 5 months internship in **Digital Design **or **RTL2GDSII **flow **for Digital Backend is preferable
- Motivation letter
- CV
- Certificate of matriculation at a university (you must be enrolled and not on academic leave)
- Latest Transcript of records (not older than 6 months)
- Highest completed educational certificate (Matura certificate for Bachelor students, Bachelor certificate for Master students)
- Reference letter (optional)
