Senior Strategist

We are seeking a motivated, analytical, self-organized senior-level expert ( **Senior Business Line Strategist) **in the electronic system or semiconductor industry with sound expertise in at least one of the automotive, IoT or industrial market verticals and a track record of successful business incubation and management.

The expert will work closely with the head of Strategy, Technology and Innovation of Business Line Advanced Analog (BL AA) as well as BL AA’s Productline Managers to define the long-term business segment and technology strategy of the Business Line.

Based on thorough market research and -intelligence the expert will define tangible and manageable business cases, plans of execution, system and technology roadmaps for both the establishment of new business segments and in supporting the Product Lines in defining evolutionary long-term paths for their existing businesses. This will involve close alignment with our support functions within the BL as well as with peer Businesslines and corporate strategy and support offices and will acknowledge BL AA’s strengths and existing mid-term competence roadmaps.

This is a position that needs the right combination of visionary thinking, technical expertise and business acumen. As a senior expert the Strategist is able to prepare and present case studies and business plans on executive level both within the Businessline and on corporate level.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform and support market analysis & competitive benchmarking
- Advanced scenario planning and analysis
- Creation and scrutiny of business cases and investment theses
- Drive business incubator activities, follow-up
- Sounding board to BL staff and -executive
- Support annual SPA, M&A and technology roadmap processes providing long-term perspective

**Profile**:

- Profound working experience in semiconductor, automotive or electronics industry
- Advanced financial and business process acumen is expected
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully operate and interact on executive level inside and outside a global organization
- Advanced ability to use analytical tools and reports that synthesize data to draw conclusions and to create story boards and executive-level presentations
- Track record of achievement, with sound thinking and judgment
- Highest level of integrity and discretion in managing confidential information
