Hpe Onsite Service Technician

We are seeking skilled and certified Onsite Service Technicians to join our team, providing installation, maintenance, and break-fix services for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) products and Multivendor systems. This role requires a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in dynamic and fast-paced environments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform onsite installation, start-up, de-installation, and recertification services for HPE branded hardware and software products, following the guidelines provided in HPE data sheets.
- Provide onsite hardware support for HPE and eligible Multivendor products, including break-fix repair and firmware updates, according to HPE service standards.
- Manage service delivery orders with customers, including scheduling and coordinating onsite visits and part pickups, and communicating task details, progress, and any potential delays.
- Conduct hardware support tasks in accordance with the service window, including troubleshooting assistance in the form of "Hands & Eyes" services to aid HPE Global Remote Services.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Participate in required training sessions to maintain and enhance technical skills, including HPE-provided web-based and instructor-led training.
- Provide proactive services, such as firmware upgrades, switch upgrades, site surveys, load balancing, and data sanitization, as needed.
- Support resident services by offering onsite services within agreed SLA criteria for specific Service Recipient accounts.

**Requirements**:

- A+ certification or equivalent industry-recognized standard training and certifications. Specific HPE certifications may be required for certain products or services.
- Familiarity with relevant operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows, Red Hat, Suse, Linux, especially if embedded in HPE storage and Synergy products.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure support, with a strong emphasis on customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Service Recipients in their local language or in English.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including potential emergency call-outs.
- Legal right to work in the country/region of service.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with HPE products and services.
- Prior experience in a similar role, providing onsite technical support for IT hardware and software.
- Additional certifications related to network, storage, or cloud technologies.
