Embedded Firmware Lead

**Your territory**
As part of our Firmware team, you will:
Guide GPS tracker firmware development processes at a worldwide pet tech market leader
Lead software architecture discussions and decisions, and be the go-to person for your team and projects
Define features and lead kick-off meetings
Coordinate multiple teams in the projects you’re involved in
Oversee performance of current products and Identify and implement improvements
Optimize development processes and increase efficiency by introducing or optimizing systems such as CI/CD and integration tests
Make firmware performance easy to monitor and analyze
Decide on firmware performance metrics
Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”.
Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

**Your profile**
Key requirements:
Extensive experience in Agile software development (Scrum/JIRA/Confluence), software design and firmware architecture
Previous experience with project management
Ideally, experience in low level embedded development (e.g. driver, bare metal)
Analytical skills are a plus
Great communication skills
Very good English skills

Just so you know what to expect: For this position, we offer a competitive overpayment based on qualification and experience. Annual gross salary starts at € 50,000 full-time - at Tractive that means a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend. If you bring relevant experience in many of the fields of responsibility, the salary will be considerably higher.
