Your Role and Responsibilities

The CISO Remediation Team is looking to add a Security Architect to the team. This position will provide proactive security measures and remediation efforts across the IBM enterprise.

This role partners and works alongside Product Teams, Security Operations, Incident Response, internal security teams and business stakeholders to help solve security issues throughout the enterprise.

Reference Salary EUR 81.998;
- p.a. based on Austrian market ranges. Possibility for overpayment is based on education and experience.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Key Abilities:

- Is personable, approachable, empathetic, and calm under pressure. The role requires collaboration, cooperation, and engagement within a large enterprise with multiple lines of businesses
- Understands the compromises that teams make due to various constraints (business logic, technical debt, time, etc.)
- Create technical documentation, presentations, reports that detail recommendations for remediation actions
- Advise, implement commercial and open-source/third-party tools to assist in detection, prevention, analysis of security incidents, vulnerabilities, exploits, etc.
- Can work autonomously, or as a member of a larger Remediation Team depending on assignment, or specific project requirements
- Solid understanding of vulnerability management and mitigation approaches
- Advise teams on enterprise-class security systems for various environments (Cloud, On-Prem,

etc), both internal and external to IBM
- Align company standards, frameworks, and security with overall business and technology strategies
- Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
- Excellent interpersonal communication - strong presentation, negotiation, and technical writing skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Ideal Qualifications:

- 3 or more years of experience as an Architect (Software, Solutions, Network, Security, etc.)
- Knowledge of a programming or scripting language, e.g., C, Python, Java or Golang, etc.
