Global Blue is currently seeking a maternity leave replacement for the position of Inventory & Agents Manager for a period of 18 months. This full-time position is based in Vienna and will report to the Senior Accounting Manager.

The Inventory & Agents Manager will work closely with local finance managers and other SSC teams, actively participating in project work. The main responsibilities for this role include:
- Planning, organizing, and executing financial tasks and projects related to the Tax Free Shopping business specifications.- Training and developing the team.- Driving process improvements and fostering innovation.

Responsabilities- Manage daily, monthly, and quarterly finance and accounting operations including GL inventory accounting, monthly closing, analytical reviews- Offer effective decision support in the accounting of Tax-Free Shopping business specifics and financial questions- Ensure SOX compliance: as a SOX control owner run timely and efficient internal controls, maintain process documentation, and support SOX audits- Work closely with external auditors and provide support regarding TFS business specifics, inventory accounting logic, country business specifications, business models- Manage team performance with KPIs and SLAs- Provide professional support to the team, as well as non-centralized entities both in standard and complex accounting questions- Build a positive learning environment, focus on talent development and long-term career path in Global Blue- Lead projects related to the internal finance systems and processes, system bugs and deficiencies, releases of new TFS products and their impact on accounting- Collaborate closely with IT and Payments departments on system issues affecting daily operations- Lead standardization and transformation projects
Skills and Competencies- Proven track record of managing finance teams- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices- Hands-on management style- High-level communication skills- Precise, structured and success-oriented way of working- Customer focus- Strong analytical and technical skills- Experience with working in the projects- Able to think ahead in order to establish an efficient and appropriate course of action- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people
Qualifications and education requirements- Working experience in Finance in an international environment: 5-10 years- Leadership experience: minimum 2-3 years of leading finance teams- Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or equivalent education- SOX experience is a must- Fluent English is a must, other language knowledge is an advantage- Lean management or Six Sigma training is an advantage
