Wien, Österreich SOS Children's Villages Vollzeit

Â:
SOS Children's Villages, founded in 1949 by Hermann Gmeiner, is the world's largest non-governmental organization focused on supporting children and young people without parental care, or at risk of losing it.

Child neglect, abuse and abandonment is everywhere. Families are at risk of separation. Locally led, we work in more than 130 countries and territories to strengthen families who are under pressure so they can stay together. When this is not in a child or young person's best interests, we provide quality care according to their unique needs.

Together with partners, donors, communities, children, young people and families, we enable children to grow up with the bonds they need to develop and become their strongest selves. We speak up for each child's rights and advocate for change so all children can grow up in a supportive environment.

What is YouthCan and YouthLinks?

YouthCan is a global initiative that supports young people, who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it, on their journey to decent work and independent life. By mobilising employees, activating their networks and providing expertise, our corporate partners are making a measurable impact in the lives of young people around the globe whilst efficiently working to reduce youth unemployment. Through YouthCan, corporates are able to reinforce their Corporate Social Responsibility and become direct actors, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. Learn more about YouthCan in this video.
By using our online platform, the YouthLinks Community, we aim to break down geographical barriers and adapt to a social distancing environment to ensure access to employability-focused training, mentoring and peer networks to young people no matter their location or circumstances. Utilizing an innovative digital platform, we see great potentials to reach more young people with our program offers in the future. Interested to join our fast growing digital movement?
