**Role Summary**:
The Sr. Specialist, Talent Management, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent Management will work to implement talent management strategies, policies, and processes that drive the achievement of our strategic objectives and maximize human potential across the organization. This role will be responsible for supporting succession planning, performance management, development/ career planning, talent programs and talent analytics.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop and implement the continuous improvement of talent management programs and processes that grow organizational capability including leadership development, competency models, talent programs, career paths and budget planning
- Contribute to the design, development, implementation and continuous improvement of succession planning and performance management
- Support the implementation and evolution of the talent review process including digitalization, talent assessment and development of identified talent in alignment with business priorities
- Research best practices and provide recommendations to enhance the talent strategy and the development and execution of all talent programs and processes
- Develop communication and project plans to ensure successful implementation of new tools and initiatives including tool kits, job aids, e.g.
- Support the enablement of employees and managers to have robust performance, development, and career conversations
- Collaborate with Group Subject Matter Experts in designated areas of expertise like assessments tools, talent programs, competencies to ensure global Talent Management standards are implemented
- Prepare and analyze critical talent metrics/reporting to evaluate impact and ensure that objectives are being met

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:

- University degree or college diploma in Human Resources or related experience
- 5-7+ years of work-related experience including knowledge of Talent Management and Leadership Development Programs and Processes including succession planning, performance management, leadership development, competency models, talent programs, and workforce planning

- Demonstrated experience and success in the design, development and implementation of talent management and leadership development programs and processes that enable business performance
- You are a highly effective verbal and written communicator
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong ability to partner and collaborate
- A sense of urgency and ability to see broad organizational view
- Ability to handle multiple projects at a time
- Experience with TMIS & HRIS Systems - SuccessFactors and Workday an asset

**Work Environment**
- Overnight travel may be required 10% of the time
