**Project Overview**:
Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.
Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.
Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.
Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.
**Position Summary**:
The Craft Supervisor - Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) is responsible for supervising and directing operations within the E&I discipline. Ensures assigned construction operations and contractors performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervises and directs Craft Professionals in construction activities within assigned area.
- Perform employee reviews and identify training and development opportunities for subordinate E&I personnel.
- Input craft time records using established automated tools.
- Completing performance evaluations on direct reports.
- Provide leadership for safety, accident and fire prevention on the project. This includes safety orientation, preparation of safety procedures and leading Bechtel and subcontractor safety meetings.
- Coordinate safety training and enforce safe work practices at all times in conjunction with the Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor.
- Implementation of ZERO Accident Philosophy. Ensure that Bechtel and local/national safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with within assigned area of responsibility.
- Ensure the most current design document specifying pipe hangers and inline components is provided to subcontractor to complete work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
- Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
- Interface with Labor/Industrial Relations for craft recruitment and training programs.
- Responsible for implementing corporate project policies, procedures and instructions within assigned E&I operations.
- Coordinate with the General Foreman to hire E&I craft professionals to execute work.
- Coordinate established area operational plans.
- Prepare material requisitions for tools and consumables and coordinate through Procurement to obtain these materials.
- Assist in performing construction testing of E&I systems as required.
- Plan the manpower and equipment required to execute the job.
- Perform other duties as required by Lead E&I Superintendent.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- 15+ years relevant field experience
- Current WA electrical license
- Knowledge of EPCM contract Management, and the Contractor(s) and their subcontractor’s (if applicable) responsibilities. Knowledge of construction technologies. Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities. Familiarity with current industry quality standards.
- Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H). Demonstrable commitment to a Zero Accident safety program
- Sound knowledge and experience in Instrumentation and EEHA in both construction and operational environments within the LNG industry.
**Additional Information**
- The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products - i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
