Greenpeace International is looking for an **IED Influencer & Internal Comms Manager** to develop and implement broad internal communications and staff engagement strategies. In this pivotal role, you will establish and support a diverse and inclusive network of internally and externally influential staff to represent Greenpeace, working alongside the International Executive Director (IED).

As part of the Greenpeace International team, you will help amplify Greenpeace’s organisational story, empowering, informing, and enabling the global Greenpeace Network.

**In this role you will**:

- Develop and implement the internal communications and engagement strategy, ensuring strong alignment and delivery of Greenpeace’s organisational story globally.
- Build a cohort of Greenpeace influencers, ensuring diversity and inclusivity, to represent Greenpeace’s mission alongside the IED.
- Maintain an overview of key external developments and advise internal influencers and the IED on strategic responses.
- Support National and Regional Offices (NROs) requesting IED representation or strategic alignment in key moments.
- Coordinate internal and external event participation requests for the IED and key influencers.
- Liaise with NROs hosting Greenpeace representatives to maximise communication opportunities and ensure effective visit coordination.
- Prepare briefings for major events and media engagements, supporting the IED and internal influencers in their communication roles.
- Work closely with the IED to enhance their internal and external communications, including social media management and crisis communications support.
- Track and analyse the effectiveness of communications strategies, providing regular analysis and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and evaluate a multidisciplinary internal communications team, ensuring effective performance and strategic alignment.
- Oversee financial planning and resource management to ensure cost-effectiveness and impactful expenditure.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including activists, Indigenous Peoples, influencers, journalists, and media.
- Foster collaboration across the Greenpeace Network to strengthen alignment and maximise collective impact.

- ** Significant experience** (7+ years) in PR, media, agency, NGO communications, or similar.
- Proven expertise in **work culture transformation** and driving positive change across complex projects.
- Strong **influencing and leadership skills**, with the ability to inspire diverse teams and senior leaders.
- Excellent **analytical abilities** and experience in organisational development and business planning.
- Deep understanding of **audience segmentation**, marketing techniques, and communication channels.
- Skilled in **crisis and responsive communications**.
- Experience working with **multicultural teams** and understanding diverse cultures and customs.
- Fluent written and spoken **English**, with strong content creation and audience analysis skills.
- High **adaptability**, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and across time zones.
- Willingness to **travel frequently** and work flexible hours.
- Demonstrable support for and belief in the Greenpeace network core aims and values.
- Digital literacy skills; the ability to learn and utilise our digital platforms to successfully perform the role function (familiarity with G-Suite, Slack and Zoom is an advantage)
