**Position Description**

The
**OSP Engineering Project Manager** is responsible for the Tier1 Austrian Telco customer management and day-to-day OSP Engineering, Design and Permitting efforts, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, guiding the project team, while ensuring Amdocs Health, Safety, Environmental protection and Quality and control.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for all Engineering, Design, GIS, and Permitting efforts of OSP fiber projects, managing multiple design and engineering teams, internal or external vendors, while delivering high-quality network designs and permitting on time and within budget.
- Guide the fundamental design and engineering scope and recommend construction methodologies, from the early stages of the project through Close-Out deliverables.
- Coordinates Environmental and ROW permitting.
- Ensures that projects are implemented according to approved Amdocs customer and government guidelines.
- Develops and maintains the project schedule in conjunction with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates.
- Establishes contractual relationships and manages day-to-day operations with various engineering and local permitting agencies.
- Maintains, tracks, and reports all financial aspects of the project including forecasts, billing, and documentation.

**Qualifications**:
5+ years of related telecom work experience or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a telecommunications Engineering Project Manager or in a similar role
- Experience in outside plant engineering, construction, or both.
- Relevant OSP permitting coordination experience working with government agencies, both from an environmental and ROW permitting with local jurisdictions. Telco construction experience is a plus.
- Completed post-secondary education in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent related work experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Telecom OSP Research, Fielding, Design and Engineering best practices, documents, drawings, specifications, current construction practices and methodologies.
- Demonstrated, successful experience in Project Management and a deep understanding of industry standards.
- Must have strong leadership, critical thinking, and organizational development skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in German and English (Must have both)
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed, with 5-10% travel.
