**Project: Multiplatform Games**

One Player Missions client is seeking a Technical Artist to help take on the challenges on multiple unannounced multiplatform projects for an independent game development studio in Vienna.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Established experience as a Technical Artist in Games
- Ability to strive for improving your process by pro-actively asking for, receiving and acting on critical feedback.
- Able to recognize and communicate issues as they approach.
- Collaborating with diverse teams, you communicate clearly and precisely, both written and verbally, in English
- Solid understanding of the concepts, tools and workflows for shaders and particles and feeding both into elaborate visual effects. You also understand their impact on game performance and how to mitigate it.
- A solid understanding for what’s technically possible in a given environment, but also a good perception for where rules can be bent and boundaries can be pushed
- Experience with procedural content creation workflows and pipelines, skeletal animation or physically based rendering is a big plus
- A strong appreciation and interest for video games

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collaborating with designers and artists frequently, trying to make the most of their vision and ideas
- Translate sketches into a language the given engine or framework understands
- Establishing solid content creation pipelines
- Performance out of an elaborate particle system
- Identifying your own goals as well as efficient ways to achieve them
- Provide reasonable time estimates and find ways to make the most of any given time-box. This includes knowing your limits and speaking up when you think something can’t be done.
- Keeping your work files clean and finding effective pipeline, version control
- and export settings will make it easier for teammates to interact with your work
