**Your personal sphere of influence**:
The working group “Probabilistic and Interactive Machine Learning” within the research group “Data Mining and Machine Learning” at the Faculty of Computer Science develops methods of machine learning and artificial intelligence, especially in the areas of reinforcement learning and deep probabilistic models, and deals with the interaction of these methods and their users, e.g. with a focus on the efficient training of AI agents through human feedback. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a university assistant with a focus on Learning Theory, Representation Learning for Reinforcement Learning.

**Your future tasks**:
You are actively involved in research, teaching & administration, which means:
Participation in research projects / scientific studies Participation in publications / scientific articles / lecturing activitie

- s Conclusion of a dissertation agreement within 12-18 months (if not already in place

**Requirements**: Completed Master's degree (or comparable degree) in computer science, mathematics, data science or a related fiel

- r Excellent knowledge of learning theory with a focus on represention learning for reinforcement learning and excellent general knowledge in the field of machine learnin
