Als Research Assistant unterstützen Sie die Ökonom:innen des Referats Konjunktur bei der Durchführung von quantitativen und oftmals forschungsorientierten Projekten zu unterschiedlichsten Themen in den Bereichen Konjunktur, Inflation, Arbeitsmarkt, öffentliche Finanzen und Prognosen.
- Die Aufgaben betreffen dabei alle Bereiche empirischer Projektarbeit: Literaturrecherche, Datenaufbereitung, Programmierung, Durchführung von Schätzungen und Analysen, Berichterstellung
- Teilnahme an Besprechungen und Vorbereitung von Ausarbeitungen im Rahmen der Arbeitsgruppe im ESZB

**Ihr Profil**:

- Laufendes Doktorats
- oder fortgeschrittenes Masterstudium mit guten Kenntnissen in den Bereichen Volkswirtschaft und/oder Statistik
- Starkes analytisches Interesse
- Gute Kenntnisse gängiger Programmiersprachen (z.B. R, Python) und statistischer Software (z.B. Stata)
- Gute Kenntnisse empirischer Methoden
- Ausgezeichnete Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikations
- und Teamfähigkeit
- Hohes Maß an Flexibilität
- Einsatzbereitschaft sowie selbstständiges, eigenverantwortliches Arbeiten

Entsprechend dem geforderten Ausbildungsgrad gilt für Berufseinsteigende ein Jahresbruttogehalt 44.000 € auf Vollzeitbasis (exkl. allfälliger Überstunden). Bei entsprechender Ausbildung und mehrjähriger Berufserfahrung bieten wir eine marktkonforme Überzahlung.
