a. Provide logistic support for events including document drafting.
b. Develop a system to monitor and keep track of different reporting requirements under the multiple ongoing projects implemented by the UNODC Office in Mozambique and develop a detailed timeline for the delivery of progress reports, in consultation with the substantive officers.
c. Draft narrative progress reports related to several ongoing Programmes/projects.

**Responsibilities**:
All tasks will be carried out under the supervision of the Drug Control and Crime Prevention Officer in consultations with substantive officers covering Terrorism Prevention, Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism, and overall coordination of the Head of Office. Specifically, the IC will perform the following tasks:
The incumbent will carry-out the following tasks:
a. Carry out various administrative tasks related to project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
b. Coordinate and prepare various written outputs, such as translations from Portuguese into English and from English into Portuguese of documents related to activities, correspondence, dissemination of presentations, preparation and collection of surveys, inter alia.
c. Provide logistic support for events: list of participants, rooming lists, transfers, agendas, preparation of all elements related to conference room for events, including but not limited to liaising with interpreters, IT and sound equipment and operators, printing, and inter alia.
d. Provide administrative support to the implementation of projects in Mozambique, in particular to the implementation of the overall cooperation framework of UNODC in Mozambique (Maputo Roadmap)
e. Support the engagement of UNODC with other UN agencies in Mozambique
f. Provide logistic and administrative support to the management of the office in Maputo, and provide administrative and logístical support for the establishment of new project office of UNODC in Mozambique
g. Support the liaison and coordination with national stakeholders and international partners namely Germany, United States of America and EU Delegation.
h. In cooperation with the programme manager and other experts, prepare a brief report on the findings and main outcomes of the consultation meeting and the training course.
i. Work with the UNODC Office in Mozambique to facilitate the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of assigned programmes and grants, etc.; monitor and analyze specific aspects of programme/project development and implementation; review relevant documents and reports; identify problems and issues to be addressed and recommend corrective actions; liaise with relevant headquarters and field staff ; identify and track follow-up actions.
j. Carry out basic research on selected aspects of programmes, operations and other activities, etc., including collecting, analyzing and presenting statistical data and other information gathered from diverse sources.
k. Develop, implement and coordinate results-based monitoring and evaluation tools and procedures.
l. Support the organization of relevant events with online components and take care of the data collection.
m. Produce monitoring reports including those relating to progress, performance and impact of programmes and grants in compliance with donors and organizational requirements.
n. Perform any other duties as required.

Qualifications/special skills

- High school diploma or equivalent is required;
- At least 1 year working on aspects linked with international development is required
- Professional experience, including some experience with the United Nations or other multilateral entities in areas related to international relations, law, and/or crime is desirable.
- Prior experience in an international organisation such as UN or INGO is desirable.
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers and programmes is required;
- Sound planning and organizing skills is required.

Languages
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in English and Portuguese, with excellent drafting and communication skills, is required. Knowledge of another United Nations official language is an advantage.
