**About This Role**

Join our soon-to-be opened Business Aviation Training Centre in** Vienna (Schwechat)**as **Planner**where you’ll be part of our global Business Aviation Training team.

We are expanding our global network to Central Europe and will be opening a business aviation training centre in Vienna, Austria in Spring 2025. CAE will initially operate six state-of the-art Full Flight Simulators in Vienna, including the Global 7500, a Global 6000 Vision, and four yet-to-be-announced Full Flight Simulators for business jets from leading manufacturers. The new 8,000-square-metre facility will have space for expansion with a capacity for up to nine Full Flight Simulators and will be purpose-built to deliver the most advanced pilot training experience in Central Europe.

**The role we are offering you**

The planning department is responsible for meticulously managing and maintaining training schedules, instructor assignments and simulator allocation. This critical role ensures compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards and operational guidelines whilst optimising resource utilisation. Your expertise in scheduling and a high attention to detail will be key to the success of our operation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Day to day adjustments to client, instructor schedules, taking into account any necessary alterations to the training profiles.
- Proactively and creatively works to provide a schedule that drives revenue retention through client satisfaction as well as employee retention through consistent work life balance.
- Allocation of Instructors/Examiners and simulator resources to maximise revenue and employee happiness.
- Creatively solves complex allocation issues whilst staying within regulatory and CAE guidelines.
- Independently adapts the schedule to fluctuating demands including last minute cancellations and employee absence.
- Acts as the key execution point of all training within the CAE - responsible for allocation of all programs related resources in a manner that both maximises revenue and ensures the long term health of the program.
- Communicates with their assigned Training Manager, Account Executives and Client Services to react to client requests and proactively address possible training concerns.
- Seeks opportunities to improve revenue efficiency by optimising booked schedules and providing clear slots for sales to fill.
- Balances responses to both clients and account executives in a delivery style that ensures equal support for all clients and ensures high quality training.
- Follow regulatory requirements to ensure all training is booked and scheduled within the CAA, EASA, UK authorities and regulations. Key ownership on all regulatory conflicts process and TCA’s

- Close working relationship with Training Managers and Account Executives to provide training solutions or course options for specific customer requests.
- Ensure Clients are accommodated in a friendly, highly respective manner with specific emphasis on problem solving and client assistance.
- Has previous aviation crew scheduling and/ or operational planning experience (desirable).
- Has experience in the use of Scheduling Tools (desirable).
- Experience of the aviation industry and Flight Simulation (desirable).
- Has knowledge and understanding of CAA, EASA, UK authorities and regulations (desirable).

**Contract details & location**

This on-site position is based at our Business Aviation Training Centre in Vienna (Schwechat). We are offering a permanent contract, 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday.

Please note that for the first four weeks of your employment you will be trained by our UK team in Burgess Hill, close to London so you will need to be able to travel and to be away from home for an extended time.
