**The Position**

Working within an international matrix environment you will organise all kinds of business events, congresses, virtual roundtables, advisory board meetings, etc. for our BU Rare Disease and BU Obesity. You will report directly to our Business Unit Director Rare Disease but work also very closely with the Business Unit Director Obesity.

As our Business Event Specialist, you will be the main contact person and ensure a good collaboration and cooperation with our internal and external stakeholders for excellent customer satisfaction. Furthermore, you will also
- Manage all practicalities for national and international congresses and business events, i.e. congress registrations, hotel bookings, invitation letters etc.
- Support in managing webinars and similar, including execution of virtual set-up, digital workshops and roundtables
- Organise Advisory Board Meetings in close collaboration with our Medical Department
- Collaborate with our Product Managers to ensure timely execution of selected digital activities
- Support development of new event types working closely together with Business Unit Director, Field Sales Manager, Sales team, Product managers or Business Development Manager

**Qualifications**
- You have at least a Bachelor’s degree or other relevant commercial academic background in business administration, communication, marketing or similar
- You bring appropriate working experience in planning and organising business events and conferences, ideally from a pharmaceutical industry
- You have strong thorough event and project management experience, including the lead of digital projects
- You have excellent organisation and communication skills
- You have a very structured, accurate working style and a hands-on mentality
- You have an excellent command of both written and spoken German (native level) and English language
