**About the role**:
The Packaging planner is responsible to create a weekly packaging plan in balancing market needs and production efficiency. This requires intense alignment with supply chain analysts and the local packaging team in consideration of oranizational changes. Furthermore, it is a responsibility of a specific product group for both the work order reservation and packaging planning.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Reservation of packaging work orders**
- Choosing of specific lots of all components of a BOM according to present rules and restrictions
- Generation of a finished goods lot number according to given guidelines
- Consideration of retention samples due to given guidelines
- Responsible to set correct due date of a work order regarding given leadtimes
- Run BOM Report on a daily to ensure that the WO parts list is in compliance with the master BOM
- Pay special attention to live saving orders to be packed within 24 hours
- Work with RPA solution “Doryo” for automatization purpose and focus on continuous improvement especially regarding digitization
- ** Packaging planning**
- Creation of a weekly packaging plan with all needed alignments with different departements
- WO scheduling within PS planning tool in consideration of deadlines, urgencies, formats, defects, shutdowns and label changes
- Intense alignment to SC analysts and close collaboration with packaging department including its regular meetings inclusive Tier 1 meeting
- Creation of packaging utilization projection for the upcoming weeks and share the key messages in regular meetings to Finishing and Planning colleges
- Pay special attention to live saving orders to be packed within 24 hours
- Prepare Mansched-KPI to measure fulfillment of the weekly plan
- Support various improvement projects (e.g. planning wheel, discard reduction, leadtime improvement, new packaging planning tools)

**Required**:

- Finished education in technical or economical area
- 2 years professional experience in Production Planning or Logistics
- Bachelor of Business Administration or similar preferred
- Experience in pharma industry preferred
