- The "Department of Engineering & IT " is looking for applicants for the following position:
- PhD-Student Position (M/F/d)- Project: “Classification of Multiple Sclerosis Lesions in Iron and non-Iron Lesions- using Deep Learning”- This project part of a cooperative doctoral program between the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences- and the Medical University of Vienna (MUV) with the goal to bridge the gap between- brain research and clinical needs.- Basic Information:
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of multiple sclerosis lesions in the brain of MS patients contributes to- predicting disease course progression. This PhD project will focus on the classification and further analyses- (- based techniques.- rim expansion, T1 black holes, atrophy) of multiple sclerosis lesions in MRI images using deep learning
